Your inner struggle doesn’t always manifest on the outside, so everyone around you thinks things are going well.

Those around you don’t know that you feel disconnected, that you don’t feel like you fit in with the group, that you’re lonely even when others are around.

It seems everything is surface level and you crave deeper connection. But when you’re someone who feels deeply, it is difficult to find others with whom you’re comfortable talking. Your strength of easily reading cues from others can also lead you to be sensitive to rejection.

And that means you hold back. You don’t share your deepest feelings. You remain disconnected and your quiet, inner struggle rages on.

Counseling provides that quiet, safe place for reflection and exploration without fear of judgment or rejection. It is a place where you can truly relax and lean into your authentic self.

You’ll learn to talk more clearly about how you think and feel, which allows you to create greater connection within meaningful relationships. As a result, your confidence increases and you become less hesitant to try new things and less scared of voicing your thoughts and feelings.

Ultimately, my goal with all my counseling clients is self-acceptance.

Once you accept yourself for who you truly are, you’re able to create connection within you. And then you’re able to create connection with your outer world, as well.

I want you to get excited about who you are, what you are, what you have, and what can still be for you. I want to inspire you to see that you can go far beyond where you are right now.
